Introduction
Gok1.com respects the intellectual property rights of game developers, publishers, artists, and all content owners. In accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and other applicable copyright laws, we have adopted the policy outlined below for responding to infringement notices and removing or disabling access to allegedly infringing material.
1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that material hosted on, linked to, or embedded through Gok1.com infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing all items listed below. Incomplete notices may be ignored.
- Identification of the copyrighted work (e.g., title, URL, ISBN, or a detailed description).
- Location of the infringing material on Gok1.com (URL of the game page, screenshot, etc.).
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Both of these statements:
“I have a good-faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
“I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notice is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.”
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Send the notice to our Designated Copyright Agent:
- Email: contact@gok1.com
- Postal: DMCA Agent, Gok1.com, [Add street address], [City], [Country]
2. Takedown Procedure
- Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content as quickly as possible.
- We will notify the user who uploaded or embedded the content so that they can submit a counter-notification if they believe the claim is mistaken.
- We may forward the original notice to the party who posted the material or to other parties.
3. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was mistakenly removed or disabled, you may file a counter-notification that must include:
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, to the appropriate judicial district) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Send your counter-notification to contact@gok1.com. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the original claimant files a court action.
4. Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate user accounts, or block IP addresses, that are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
5. Good-Faith Misrepresentation
Submitting fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith takedown notices or counter-notices may result in legal and/or financial liability.
